How to Play
Welcome to Anything Grid!
The Goal
Fill all 9 cells of the grid. Each cell must contain an answer that matches both its row and column categories.
How It Works
Click a cell, then search for anything that fits both categories. For example, for Historical × Change, you could answer French Revolution (a societal change), Halfpenny (old currency change), or Bathing Machine (a historical place to get changed)!
Scoring
The more obscure your answer, the lower your score. Find those deep cuts to show off your niche knowledge. Or play to the crowd and pick something everyone loves — whichever's more fun!
Scores are based on how many page views an answer got that month — the more the world is looking it up, the higher the score.
After You Play
Once the grid is complete, you can see the most popular and most niche answers other players picked for each cell. Click on any cell to learn more about the entry!
